BILAN MORAL
Cette première année a été très satisfaisante. A ce jour un terrain de 20,000 mètres carrés a été acheté sur lequel ont été bâtis des abris
pour les porcs, les chèvres, les moutons et les poules et canards ainsi que trois cases pour l’aide berger et Polycarpe. Une trentaine d’animaux cohabitent : chèvres, porcs, moutons poules,
canards. Les récoltes cette année sont excellentes, à peu près 750 kg de mais, mil, igname et haricots.
Un puits a été construit à Sagbadei dont bénéficient tous les villageois. Ce puits est couvert ce qui permet une meilleure qualité de
l’eau.
En février dernier une personne de l’association, Christel Valera, a pu se rendre sur place pendant 12 jours et juger de l’avancement du
projet. Elle a pu apporter des vêtements, médicaments et fournitures scolaires. Quelques mois après, Lindsay Page-Jones, se rendant à Lomé a pu faire parvenir à Polycarpe des vêtements, jouets,
médicaments et fournitures scolaires.
L’entrée des animaux dans la ferme a été marquée par une fête qui a réuni les villageois.
Nous visons à l’extension de la ferme, la purification de l’eau du puits ainsi que par la suite la création d’un espace communautaire, une
aide accrue à l’école lorsque nos finances le permettront dans l’année à venir. Une voiture a été acheminée à Toulon dans laquelle se trouvent 2 groupes électrogènes, une pompe à eau et divers
outils pour l’exploitation ainsi que des fournitures scolaires. Elle doit partir dans les mois à venir pour Lomé grâce à la Marine Nationale qui a donné son accord.
BILAN FINANCIER.
Il est tout à fait satisfaisant grâces aux dons généraux. Il y a une petite balance positive.

GENERAL REPORT
This first year was very satisfying. A plot of land of 20,000 square meters
has been bought and on which was built various sheds for the pigs, the goats, the sheep, the chickens and ducks as well as a three small huts for the person who will look after the animals and
Polycarpe. Approximately 30 animals live together on this land, goats, pigs, sheep, chickens and ducks.
The harvest this year was excellent, roughly 800 kilos of different cereals
and beans.
A well was built at Sagbadei from which the village people can benefit.
This well is covered to ensure a better quality of water.
Last year a member of the association, Christel Valera, visited Sagbadei
for 12 days to be able to see the progress of the project. She bought clothes, toys, health care items and school equipment. A few months later Lindsay Page-Jones went to Lome and was thus able
to bring to Polycarpe similar items as Christel.
When the animals arrived at the farm a party took place where all the
village people gathered to celebrate the occasion.
We intend to extend the farm, improve the quality of the water, continue to
assist the school and also to create a community center for the coming year when it will be financially possible. We have bought a car and it is now awaiting shipment at Toulon to Lome by the
French Navy. In the car there are two electrical generators, two electrical pumps, various tools for the farm as well as items for the school and the villagers.
FINACIAL REPORT
Thanks to the generous donations it has been a satisfactory first year.
There is a small positive balance.
